The Story:
A barn find in February 2012. True story... Below are photos of what I discovered in a barn while looking at a building for sale with a real estate agent. The barn was locked, but in the dark through the crack in the door, I could just make out the headlights and horn grills. The car wasn't on the market, but after tracking down the owner, he agreed to sell.
This car appears solid, no bad rot, some surface rust, complete except for original radio, came with some paperwork issued to original owner from Simsbury CT including service booklet, owners manual, etc. Can't find any dents or evidence of repair. It has the "S" appearance package I believe. Original paint and interior. It's got H1 headlights, 15" Fuchs, wheel arch trim, sunroof and a rear wiper. Awaiting restoration - someday, hopefully...
November 2016 - Almost done with restoration. Hopefully on the road by Spring!
March 2017 - Motor/Trans just installed. Finishing touches now...
September 2017 - Back on the road and sorted out. 750 miles of smiles so far...
