The Story:
Transmission #: 7198049 901.07 Approx MSRP in 1969: $7,500 History: It was my older brothers purchase of a new Irish Green 1966 911 (with Solexes no less) when I was 12 years old that I imprinted on and forever infected me with the Porsche bug… I have owned this car for 29 years. It was purchased in Azusa California on March 30th of 1982 from its second owner, at the time it had 56K miles. The car was delivered new to its first owner in Virginia in late 1969. It was a late ’69 model year build. The month as near as I can figure was sometime in July 1969. Original equipment options were tinted glass, Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio and antenna. The car is original with the exception of having been repainted its original color, Light Ivory, in 1983. The motor was rebuilt to 2.0 S specifications in 1994 by Adrian Gang of Edelweiss Porshaus. The car currently has 112K original miles and I have full documentation to that effect. The only non-stock non-original parts on the vehicle are the ’72 bumper spoiler, dash pad, and the turn signal lenses. Some of the notable evolutionary changes to the ’69 model year:  First Porsche road car with Mechanical Fuel Injection (MFI) for E and S a first  Last year for the 2.0 liter engine  Wheelbase lengthened 2.24 inches  Fenders given a slight flare to accommodate larger wheels and tires  Lightest air cooled production 911 ever produced.  Dual batteries for improved weight redistribution
